We have around 10 Grocery stores including stores for Halal meat. There cinema halls here that show Hindi Cinema, like AMC 30 shows 1 -2 hindi movies. People who have settled here with families can find good social circle. There are a lot of desi doctors in KC area.

Kansas city is spread in Missouri and Kansas states and the nearby suburbs are Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, Lee's Summit etc. All these cities have a good community of desis. The school distict here is one of the best in the country and due to that houses are little bit on upscale. But the positive side is that there are lot of posh people around and the security is generally good.

Kansas city is also in the middle of country so its easy to take vacations around the USA. Many people visit Las Vegas and Florida as these flights turn out to be cheaper. There are also lot of mosques and couple of temples in the city for religious people.
